I started Crossfit with Luke and his team seven months ago and I'm now completely hooked! This time eight months ago, I had never really done any exercise for a prolonged period and gave up hope of ever finding anything that I would stick to but Crossfit Tewkesbury has completely changed my outlook and my body! I'm stronger than I've ever been but still have so much to learn. If you're nervous about joining a new gym (like I was!), you have nothing to worry about - some of the friendliest and most encouraging people. Everything can be scaled to your capabilities and you'll be amazed at how quickly your fitness level improves. Go for it...if it's worked for me - it can work for anyone!!
Don't be put off joing a crossfit gym because you think you are not fit enough. Everything can be scaled to your ability. It's a great form of mobility, strength and cardio training with a little bit of gymnastics thrown I to the mix. The coaches are very knowledgeable, approachable and professional. There are no egos at all and all the members are very friendly and supportive of each other.
Great Gym, Great Instructors, friendly atmosphere. They don't look at you "funny", if you are overweight, and want to get rid of it and get fit and healthy. Would recommend for beginners or veterans.
Great place, great community and session times to fit most schedules. Wish I'd started sooner.
