Nice room, a little bit fresh, but comfy. Nice quiet location
Lovely, friendly welcome at reception - the staff happily made up the spare bed which had been missed prior to our arrival! The room was spacious, clean and well furnished & the bed was so, SO comfortable. My ONLY criticism would about the size of the TV - it was very small and quite difficult to see, particular from the spare bed Maybe they'll be upgrading them soon?! However, would definitely stay here again.
Had a breakfast this morning and it was absolute rubbish, in both the service and the food quality.Went to the restaurant at 9am this morning, there was hardly any customers already on there and yet the buffet trays were half empty.There was no bacon, eggs, or sausages.The rest of the trays had scrapings of dried up hash browns, scrambled eggs and mushrooms.There was one assistant on her own trying to fill the trays which took ages.Eventually on sitting down to eat, I found everything was stone cold and the sausages had probably 0.5% meat content. Horrible!!!The coffee machine had no milk and there were queues of bemused and confused customers wandering around looking for food and service.I wish was exaggerating, but the breakfast was definitely a disaster!!!
Nice and clean. Ideal location for getting back on the motorway. Staff very helpful when asked questions of the local area
