Would have expected much more for the cost, breakfast was ok ish but spoilt with cheap sausages and bacon.Our bedroom room 8 was extremely cold and the bathroom was freezing as the radiator only had one of the three rails working, the other reason it was so cold was because the glazing is original to the house which meant there were gaps in them, some as big as 1/4" which also meant you could hear everything going on outside, this also wasn't helped with curtains which didn't fully close. We won't be going back.
Lovely old hotel with low ceilings, beams, slopey and creaky floors. Great staff and lovely food. We also had a (ghost) who turned our TV on twice lol.
Best baked potato ever!,and a decent pot of tea. Will definitely be back.
Nice hotel with its own bar and restaurant. Small rooms. Floors a not level but it has something special.
Very old historic hotel, rooms were really nice the beds and pillows were comfy and the rooms were very clean and tidy also the shower cubicle was a good size not like the little sardine in a tin kind of ones you get in most hotels. The staff were also friendly and helpful and the breakfast was nice. Would deffo stay again but next time do some ghostly exploring.
