Found staff very informative and helpful, have used this business frequently over the years for special gifts etc. Nothing was too much trouble and I have never been disappointed with any of the goods purchased .
Great online experience. I ordered item during Christmas hols on the 27th, it was shipped by post during the next day, I received it perfectly packaged, by first post after new years day. All inquiries answered without hesitation. Easy As.
AVOID!!!! OWNER LACKS DECENCY AND COMMON COURTESY. I phoned a few months back regarding a ring for wife that I was looking for as a present. I mentioned that I had a ring she owned and asked if I could bring it with me for him to size so I could get an idea of her size should I find nothing that suits in the shop.....you would think I had asked him to give his kidneys to me. He immediately became sharp and rude and starting ranting about people using jewellers to get ring sizes and then buy rings on the internet. I explained that I was actually looking for a ring but just wanted to know my wifes size should he not have anything that suited. Again he started making accusations of people coming in and not buying something.Customer service?...you must be joking.In 64 years of my life I have never been spoken to like that by any store owner. A simple polite...Yes sir but we charge five pounds for sizing would have been fine for me. Not to be ranted at but the ignorant pleb. I thought it odd that a jeweller be so aggressive about something so trivial. I spoke to Howards of Moreton in Moreton in the Marsh and they sized the ring without second thought. Anyway sir you lost out on a possible 600 sale. Im not sure if the gentleman who owns this establishment practices being rude or if it just comes naturally to him...the reviews speak for themselves.
If you want a friendly, helpful and positive local experience, DO NOT come here. Probably the most patronising and rude owner you could ever meet seemingly loving the minor power trip he has of you being in his shop. Importantly DO NOT sell anything to him as his dark art pricing technique without transparency has clearly been ripping people off for the 33 years he has traded. A very big disappointment in such a beautiful town.
Rip-off merchant. Incredibly rude owner with zero customer service skills. Selling large amounts of overpriced tat that wouldn't look out of place in the charity shop 1 bin. Offered an insultingly low price for gold, well below market value, then refused to tell us the weight of the piece we'd taken in. And when we asked how he arrived at the price, he refused to answer, and then told us to "F*&K OFF" out of his shop! Will NEVER return.
