Really nice charity bookshop, great choices and little prices!
Bookworm has an excellent range of recent fiction and some surprisingly good specialist book areas. Languages and foreign language fiction are just inside the doorway and books for rail buffs are under the window. Upstairs are two rooms where you can find craft books, sports, psychology and business and popular science. There's also a range of CDs and DVDs, jigsaw puzzles, stamps, postcards and a spectacular sheet music section. Make sure you tell the volunteers what you are looking for as they have extra stock in the storeroom and love it if you have a list of books that they can hunt down for you.
Quirky secondhand bookshop on two floors. Friendly & helpful staff. Good turn over of stock. Also offers stamps, sheet music and DVDs. Profits are distributed annually to Cancer Research and local good causes. Shop is run as a community interest company/social enterprise and offers volunteering opportunities.
Great selection of excellent quality reasonably priced second hand books. If you can't see what you are looking for then it's worth asking as they may have it but not yet on the shelf.
